Legal notice

Please read this short notice before using Nestria. It explains what the product does and what it doesn't.

What Nestria is

Nestria is a simple rent ledger tool for small self-managing landlords. It helps you record rent due, log payments, see arrears and share statements with your tenants. That is the entire scope of the product.

What Nestria is not

  • Nestria is not legal advice.
  • Nestria is not a compliance, regulatory or accounting product.
  • Nestria does not handle tenancy deposits, gas safety, electrical safety, EPCs, right-to-rent checks, selective licensing or HMO licensing.
  • Nestria does not file tax returns or provide tax advice.
  • Nestria does not act as a letting agent and does not chase tenants on your behalf.

Your responsibilities as a landlord

You remain fully responsible for following the laws and obligations that apply to you as a landlord — including (but not limited to) tenancy law, deposit protection, safety certification, licensing, tax reporting and data protection in your country, region or local authority.

The information you record in Nestria is your own. You are responsible for making sure it is accurate, for keeping it up to date, and for any decisions you make based on it.

No warranty

Nestria is provided on an "as is" basis. We work hard to keep the product reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or available without interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nestria and its operators are not liable for losses arising from your use of the product.

Get proper advice when you need it

If you are unsure about a legal, tax or compliance question, please speak to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction (for example a solicitor, accountant or your local council). Nestria is a tool to help you stay organised — not a substitute for that advice.
